Our work is dedicated to empowering people, including our nation’s veterans, by offering a supportive environment, vocational training, and holistic resources.
The Four Freedoms
Our mission is built on the enduring principles of Norman Rockwell’s “Four Freedoms”:

The Story Behind Our Mission
The concept for Freedoms Purchase Ranch was born from the personal journey of co-founder Michael Baird and his family, who found themselves without a home. While living in their RV, Michael was inspired by his friendship with Rich “Doc” Hendrzak, a highly decorated and combat-disabled war veteran. Their shared experiences ignited the vision for a community where anyone could find healing and a path to a better future.
